Dunfield and Mead Ltd is registered as a limited company that was incepted in 2013 and is based in Croydon.
The Director and staff have vast experience working with vulnerable people including people with mental health needs, physical disabilities and looked after children. The agency provides Semi- independent living and Supported Living Services to the Local Authorities.

Dunfield and Mead aims to recruit staff that are dedicated and share the organisation’s ethos, values and commitment in the provision of quality care to its clients. Our ambition is to provide the best service for young people and adults who are entrusted to us by the local authorities. Our belief is that better opportunities and better outcomes can be achieved by our dedication of providing and maintaining high standards in the quality of service provided.

Dunfield & Mead’s role can be defined as partners to the local authorities in assisting them in some of their duties and providing feedback as necessary. Our commitment is to provide the relevant training and support to our staff to enhance their skills and competence which will ultimately reflect in the service provided.

– Safety within the home. Where applicable each home is supplied with a fire blanket, fire extinguisher and smoke detectors.
– Provision of Gas Safe and NICEIC certificates are mandatory for each home.

The Managing has vast experience of working in the care sector and providing care and support services to vulnerable people. His work experience includes working with people with mental health needs, physical disabilities, asylum seekers and children that are being looked after by the local authorities.

Service Manager:
Idris Kabia
Experience
The Service Manager has worked as a Social Worker for London Borough of Southwark, London Borough of Haringey and London Borough of Croydon. He has vast experience in the provision of services to asylum seekers, looked after children and children leaving care.

Staff Profile
A list of current staff and their qualifications is available on request in the office. The staff allocated to support each client will be chosen in order to match their skills with the client’s needs.

We manage and train our employees with the aim that all of our staff achieve mandatory training associated with working with vulnerable people. All otheremployees receive the training appropriate to their work.

Description of Our Services and Facilities

Services offered
The following services are provided by the organisation:
– Accommodation and support services to looked after children between the ages 16 years +
– Accommodation for 18+ care leavers
All clients are assessed prior to the commencement of their care and a Care Plan is designed to meet the specific needs of each individual. The Care Plan is reviewed regularly.

All young people and vulnerable people deserve the best service possible. We aim to provide safe and service and ensure that our service users receive all the support they need to achieve their goals. We believe that our service represents both quality and value.

Complaints
Dunfield & Mead has a complaints procedure for staff and service users. The organisation also has a whistle blowing policy for staff. Service users and staff have the right to lodge a complaint without the fear of reprisal.
